anyone who believes that osamabinbiden.. or any democrat will lower taxes on 80% of us is a foolish twit.

Republicans have lowered taxes on 80% of the people before tho..

I will not count any people who do not pay taxes anyway..  a "tax credit" giveaway to people who pay nothing now is not "lowering taxes" it is redistribution of wealth by force.

If they (big corp) cut jobs because of tax increases. What good is 80% less of nothing?

Yea, they'll close even though they have a healthier customer base... your logic is laughable. Almost as funny as lazs.

Obama will probably lower our taxes by 80%.  He will in turn raise taxes on businesses.  In the end, we will still be paying the taxes.

Itunes.. another little point... if you work hard for your money and your employer is paying more in taxes, not only will your raises vanish... your job could vanish. Think about the dems stance on minimum wage and the open borders/immigration issue. Can an illegal do yer job? If so, if obama gets his way, your job will be done by somebody yer employer can pay less.. and the employer gets a tax credit for hiring a minority.

The backbone of this country and it's economy is small business... the guys that make taillight lenses and lug nuts. The burger shops. The plumbers, roofers, tradesmen and contractors. Your jobs depend on a healthy business with a minimum tax load. Change the tax environment small business operates in, you change the bottom line.. the number of employees, their benefits, their pay scale.

Think long and hard before you buy the rubbish both sides are putting in the air. If it's your paycheck, and your a working man... I'd vote republican. The dems want you socialized and marginalized. The Liberal Elite is not working class America.

Excellent post Hangtime, I wonder why the partys spend millions using all these Advertising Experts and yet you seem to have explained it way better than any Ad i've ever seen, so it goes like this: The Boss gets his taxes raised, Illegals then become very attractive cost wise and guys like me are out of a job, No more Bonus or raises and stuff like that? No thanks.
McCain just got himself another vote.

Profits also come from increasing the customer base. You don't cut jobs if you have increased sales just to reduce a little bumb in your overhead.

when the govt put the "luxury" tax on big yachts it almost put the US boat manufacturers out of business, the rich people went overseas to buy their boats.

yeah, "big" business has lots of money, lets their raise taxes.

It has just come to light that we have loaned 82 billion dollars to Banks for liquidity.....and AIG has recieved 25 Billion already.

My question....concerning Fannie and Freddie.  Where was Congress?  Where was Barney Frank chairman of the Senate Banking Committee?

It leads me to think someone or someones in Congress were reaping some profits from Financial Institutions that were passing out shaky loans and selling these loans to other financial institutions.  This bascially has come down to  simple matter of greed and the "I want Sum" syndrome.

Let's get while the gettin' is good!

Methinks we are to blame also for putting up with the crap that has been going on in US Politics for quite awhile.  We tend to look the other way when things are going well for us.  Frankly...we just don't pay attention.  We get fed over the airwaves Vote Lib, Vote Dem, Republican, Democrat, whatever your favorite party.  Meanwhile why we are lapping that up some are doing a fancy dance routine behind our backs that we will not notice.

It's about time we keep a better eye on what our Govt. is doing for us!  We don't elect our Officials to represent Special Interest Groups or Businesses.  We elect them to represent us.  I really can't think of anything worthwhile in the last 20 years that has been done by our Govt. to help all of us.

Energy Problems
Taxes
Banking Crisis
Hurrican Katrina
Health Care

I don't want a Socialist govt.  I want a Government that operates on the premise that those who are elected to Office to represent their constituents will do so.  Represent their Constituents, not represent themselves and their views.  And not be effected by Lobbyists and special interest groups.  They represent their constituents and should vote as their constituents see fit.

How much longer should we suffer this?  It's our fault also.  We elect the bastards.

Oh   and btw.....Fox News just reported that #2 on the fannie Mae donation list was (drum roll please))))))))))))))))))) Barrack Obama

Yup.....he received the 2nd largest Donation from Fannie Mae...and he only being a Senator for 4 years.  Makes ya wonder don't it?

None, but we sell a lot to people making 100k a year, or even 150k a year. Obama's tax increase doesn't affect anyone making less than 250k.

How will it affect the small businesses?
