As a strict independent, the more one side attacks a candidate, the more I want to vote for beleaguered individual.

Obama was attacked mercilessly in beginning and his poll numbers were up, now the Republicans/Conservatives  have slowed down their attacks, his poll numbers are down.

Coincidence? I think not, I believe many people feel as I do about the political slime system.

so you're voting Palin?  I feel, and sadly so, that McCain probably won't make 4 years without having to be hospitalized or buried(with all due respect), so whoever votes for him, is voting for her to be president.   :aok
Although, I have been on the Palin trashtrain, it is because I think she is a liar and not worthy of being in the whitehouse whatsoever. :aok

why do you feel Mccain won't make 4 years skycrock?   Did you see his almost 100 year old mother..  I would bet she is twice as sharp as you.

My dad is 80.. I bet you would be a weeping, sweating quitter if you tried to keep up with him one day while he plastered a house or poured a cement slab...  you wouldn't make noon..  anyone watching the two of you.. by noon would say that you only had a few years to live.

Nope, I probably wouldn't, seeing as I build houses on the side.  Tomorrow I will be in Blue Springs, MS doing inside work on my fathers 2 story.  Built it from the ground up with our own lumber that we cut, dried, and sawed with our sawmill.  Alas, you're probably right though, I couldn't make it through some plastering..... :rofl.

Did I say I was definitively going to vote for her?

Did I say I was not going to vote for Obama?

Frankly, I'm so fed up with both parties I'm considering writing in my vote. I just haven't decided between Mickey Mouse (I hear some Saudis don't like him) or Barney the Dinosaur. At least those 2 candidates actually say what they are going to do, instead of just slinging mud at one another.

wow skycrock!!!!!  now you build houses on the side!!!  this is amazing...  a teacher working 30 hours a day...  a full time single parent..   a cartoon plane warrior with 100 or more hours a month on line...   a logger..  a rock star... and now....

Building houses!

I have one house and a job.. I spend a dozen hours a month on cartoon planes...  I have a lot of hobbies but when I was a single parent it took all my time.. even girfriends were a strain on my time... I recently added on to my house...  it took every bit of my spare time.

I can't believe the stuff you spew sometimes..  and I will still be willing to bet you couldn't keep up with my 80 year old dad.    I think you are a fibber.

big time..  I weep for our children under your care and would use this opportunity to again plea for all who have been following this to say....

I think you are a fibber.

:rofl  I think you just lied out your arzz!

Couple of facts you missed, or blatantly lied about.

* I work on average 45 hours a week at my day job, with the occasional night event such as open house and the likes.  5 of those hours are worked at home.

* I gave my ex-wife joint custody of our children earlier this year after she completed drug rehab, and got her own place, and became stable.  She gets them 2 days out of the week, and every other weekend.

* I have been working in construction since 1985 off and on.  Through college, during summers, side jobs, and anytime I needed money, or someone in the family needed work on their house.  Since December of '07 I have logged 500+ hours on my fathers house, primarily on weekends and then this summer.

* I practice with my band 2 hours a night, 2 nights a week on the nights my ex has the children.

* I do not do 100 hours a month on this game.  I have averaged over the last 6 months around 35 hours a month.

Ownt! :aok

 :rofl
