90 degree verticle

 what exactly does this feature do??? I have a widescreen and have set it to "wide" but noticed this other setting,90 degree verticle????   :o

Try it and find out.  :D

Perhaps it has to do with portrait vs landscape aspect for widescreen monitors that swivel.

After talking with a squadie,he has a nonwide screen and it seems to give him a better view.
 I was wondering if the new widescreen support required this new 90 degree view to be used with nonwide monitors???
