It was optional, I designed a mission where one flight had them and one flight did not. It was about Half of us (3 of 6).

Was my night to be sure. Had lots of help from squadies (Partagas for one) who kept clearing my six.

Also 2 of the 6 hit the trees as I was flying below tree top level running like a little girl screaming through the woods! I was very lucky.

A year ago he might have been. The little bugger plays BF2 now. I can hardly get him to fly any more. He is so rusty I can beat him again.
