Put her over there next to that England truck and see how she does. Scares the crap out of most new drivers to be next to something that big.

I was the same age first time I drove. Looks like she will handle it well. Good job :aok

I don't, because I haven't yet. :noid No reason to pay for gas, insurance, and licensing when I can reach everything I need on foot.

Except for a couple rural states, that's true.

But who's to stop a father from teaching his kid when no one else is on the road?

I don't remember my first drive. I do remember as I was first learning that my Mom & I sat at an intersection for about an hour while I tried to get the car going after stalling it out. She absolutely, positively wouldn't do it for me.  She was content to just real sweetly say "That's okay honey, we'll just sit here until you get it." I was fit to be tied.

First time driving the parents pickup i was six years old. It was a green '75 Ford 1/2 ton long box 4x2

First time driving to town seven years old. In a early '70 light blue Datsun with a four on the floor 4x2

First solo in Cessna 152 (C-GQDJ) Nov 19 1987 (I was 17) Blue sky/ no wind/ took off Runway 23 left turn to down wind (remember being scared as hell) left turn to final (Check check check) full stop landing with taxi back. (legs shaking) got out and walked around was done for the day.

Remember all this like it was yesterday.

Frenchie you made memories that will last a lifetime :salute
