I have one and I think its great.  There's a bunch of similar models though, be sure to get the "L227WTG-PF" since its the one with both the super-fast response time and zero input lag... best for gaming.

Just a note... the panel is not good for accurate color reproduction... I've seen worse but I've seen a whole lot better as well.  The same color will look different from the top to the bottom of the screen and from side to side as well.  This is problem all TN film type LCD monitors share, and is what they trade off to be able to update their displays super fast.  This makes it great for fast action gaming, but if you want to do graphics arts work too, it could be a problem.

Sadly this is overlooked so much of the time.  I can't buy a monitor without physically seeing it in person at a store/work/someone else has it.  It's best in a store since you can compare color/contrast across several brands with 1 foot of each other.

OK, I have a ?  What do U look for in LCD monitors?  I know U look for delay (ex. 2ms).  What else?  I currently looking at these monitors.  Which of these is the best one and I don't mean but how much either.

There's not much differentiating them.  I'd go by customer reviews at that point.

Here's the one I have.  It's a great monitor:

- Contrast Ratio*
- Brightness
- Warranty
- Customer Reviews
- Another website reviews
- Brand

Between those monitors (w/o reading reviews), I'd go with Samsung on the brand quality of previous models I've used.

* I'm not sure how they're fudging the numbers these days (I haven't looked at LCD's recently), but as you can notice they have 20,000:1 (1000:1).  I'm not sure what they're using to calculate these numbers.  I know my first LCD was 450:1 and my new one I bought 18 months ago was 1000:1.  How the 20000:1 number is achieved, I don't know.

I bought the 19" lg flatron (idea of going to 3 screen display down the road) W1952TQ and very satisfied with it.  Found it at Best Buy.  :noid :aok

Contrast ratio is a useless number unless comparing same branded models produced in the same model cycle.  There isnt an industry standard, so each company uses their own scale to achieve these numbers.  The scale can change from year to year as well.  Best way to judge contrast is with your own eyes.  Brightness is good for well lit rooms, and gaming, but comes with the downside of tending to wash out colors more than average.
