Reason i asked is because in small country like Finland (population 5 000 000+) sometimes when somebody makes career abroad, media makes it look like he/she is known all over the world.  I gave some examples that crossed my mind only for see does anyone sounds familiar to u guys and to see if they was so known as we here are thinking.

What's Finland? Is that a country?

Yeah it is.  I think they have something called lutefisk over there.  Some of the people in Minnesota ate when I was there.  It's whitefish soaked in lye for a few days and then washed.  The nastiest smelling and tasting stuff I ever ate.  But lefse ain't too bad.  That is more of a potato tortilla.
