It's becoming a joke.  No Stevie Ray Vaughan.  No Rush.

What no Britney? No Ashley Simpson? The world is so unjust.

 Isn't SRV already in HOF?

SRV is NOT in yet.

BUT, even worse you have these not in yet.

Yes
Deep Purple

and Rush

Rush deserves to be in because not only are they making relevant music and constatly evolving.   They (going on memory) have to have the longest running unchanged lineup in Rock n Roll history.    34 years and counting.   Only band that can get close to this, is U2.

Yes deserves to be in, because to took the vehicle set forth by Pink Floyd and drove faster and further than PF were willing to go.   They inspired many bands in their wake.

Deep Purple deserves to be in because of not only Machine Head, but they evolved acquiring the pieces slowly.   Fireball was a great album, though hated by many.   But the riffs Blackmore created are some of the most well known in History.

SRV would be 4th on my list.   Nothing against him at all, he's a Legend.   But, there are a couple that were making music before he was.

Alex Lifeson embraces the "Snubbing":  "It doesn't matter at all," Lifeson says. "If we were inducted it would mean we'd probably have to go up there (to Cleveland) and play there."

Unbelievable! No Deep Purple? No Rush or Yes? Yep its definatly the hall of shame.

The first music I ever bought was Deep Purple 'Machine Head". I bought three 8 tracks; Deep Purple "Machine Head", Rory Gallagher "Irish Tour 74" and Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon"

Ya the way things are going Britney and Ashley Simpson will be in the HOF.
