Banana Chases Monkey

and winds up in jail? What the heck?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0EiVQtImLM

It was a funny prank for the Homecoming game. What's screwed up is the school has absolutely no sense of humor.

http://www.nbc5i.com/education/17535120/detail.html

When I watched the story on the news a school spokesperson said the kids were disrupting a learning environment and someone could have been injured. Learning environment... at a football game? This zero tolerance crap has got to go.

I couldn't agree with ya more RPM. Some students put together a funny senior prank that does no damage and doesn't hurt anyone but are sent to jail.  How stupid is this.  Although i have to say it seems more like someone is on a power trip about punishing these students than a case of zero tolerance striking again.   I am curious if the the kids have a history with this school admin or if their parents do.

I hope the parents of those kids sue the toejam out of the school board. Punishing them for a halftime prank is beyond ludicrous.

Rent-a-cop, you mean.  Probably the most exciting thing he had to do since he failed out of the same high school.

According to the local PD, they recommended to the school that the kids go home with their parents, but the school decided to press charges.

UPDATE: Bananaboy and Monkeyboy
I say 16 hours jailtime served is more than punishment enough and you better pray I don't sue your blind.

This zero tolerance crap has got to go.

My Senior year the soon to be valadictorian (josh) was expelled from school with only 1 week left. The reason? The runner up for valadictorian (christina) stated that josh had a dangerous wepon hidden in the trunk of his car. The police came and rumaged through his trunk to find a box cutter and a small pocket knife in the first aid kit. He was expelled, he did not graduate with honors, he did not get to attend Cal Tech, he was not valadictorian. All because it is a zero tollerence policy for carrying a "wepon" on campus.

Zero tollerence can shove it

Hell we filled the water fountain in front of the school up with bubble bath at our home coming.. and had beach balls flaying all over during graduation. Would probably be labeled terrorists now days.

I will say a some of the college students from Emery Riddle got caught trying to steal a live alligator from one of the miniature golf places here on beach side a few months ago. I had a good laugh at that, trying to figure out what they planned to do with it.  :lol
