I wonder why drinkers and drunks dwell on the subject of drinking so much? It's like it's a badge of honor to discuss there favorite drink and becoming drunk. To each their own I guess.I don't think I've ever got thru a a sortie or two w/o someone stating how drunk they are.So skoal you sots, and knock um back!

Flying drunk is a muppet requirement  on Fridays and Saturdays.  We also encourage this during the week.
It's a standing order!   :salute

People, I fly greatest when I am drinking...Like playing pool. I get better and better the more I drink until I hit that certain threshold amount of blood alcohol and then I go looking for food while gaining alt. I eat it then I need a smoke. Then I use the latrine and go back to the kitchen to snack some more. I make a few a phone calls and before I know it, I am probly the highest cartoon pilot on line or I have been towered since I was not paying attentio. Then I go to sleep.
This is a test

Every once in awhile I will do a “theme night”… I may buy a big bottle of Sake and exclusively fly the Japanese aircraft. Or, I might sit down with a bottle of vodka and fly the Russian skinned P39s & P40s.

I also have military music from the appropriate country playing in the background during these nights. (I have CDs of American, German, Russian and Japanese WWII era music.)

You don’t normally see me landing very many kills on those evenings.

I like flying drunk. It´s nice to be in finnish ch where almost everybody is drunken (mostly weekends). Sometimes it so fun that in 3 am i can´t even speak but still trying to and next day its hard to remember anything. My wife doesn´t like it because she says i´m yelling too loud. I usually drink beer but every now and then booze also.

To be honest, i´ve flown past couple of weeks sober because my doctor told me that combination of my painkillers and alcohol might kill me.

The only downside to me flying drunk is that for some reason I seem to suddenly think I'm the Red
Baron and then up a 262 only to either auger or end up making contact with a set of Buffs and losing bits of wings etc, This strange phenomen nornally starts after Johhny Walker Black label #3.
On the other side though, If I stick to a nice Ale then I usually jump in a Temp, but that's not too shabby as when I die in it, then it's not so bad as a Johnny Walker night... :)
