In a midwar setup, planes like the 190As or the P-47s are among the fastest at deck, but with others trailing very close by. The Lalas are limited to two ShVak cannons, our Typhs with 1944 configuration won't be allowed in midwar setups, and potentially only the P-51B will start to pose as a big 'runner' plane, only in the final stages of the midwar setups.
Ofcourse, the same follows with jabos and bombers, since a typically much lighter bomb load will make it at least twice as more difficult to down carriers or shutoff airfields/Vfields, and such.
