If it's historical simulation you want then get with a FSO registered squad.
Scenarios are awesome as well!

In HiTech's previous game (Warbirds) featured a rolling plane set, [sarcasm] it was such a success that HiTech decided not to add it to this game. [/sarcasm]

HT built Warbirds before he graduated to building AH. He also had a hand in Air Warrior which started it all.

Chewie by pointing out that the AvA is empty or near empty most of the time. You also pointed out that most people do NOT agree with you. Because if they did they'd be in the AvA.

Way to shoot yourself in the foot.

FYI Hitech built Warbirds, but made some questionable business decisions.
Ended up selling his share in it for enough to take a year and start from scratch.
Ever since then people have been leaving WB for AH.

In spite of the fact that WB has/had historical arena's, and RPS's.

Now what does THAT tell you?

A lot of us prefer the ava style matchups but go to the main arena when we don't already see the ava populated.  It's a matter of getting something started.  Yes, the main arena is great for new players who want to try everything out, and for the land grabbers, but the ava provides something different.  It's like a really great cheeseburger: no matter how delicious it is, you still see more people lining up at McDonald's.

Erm no.. The LWAs would be more like burger King.....you can have it "YOUR" way. The ava is a snooty little boutique place place that tells what you want and how your going to get it.
It's all hamburger. :noid

That AH is more for gamers than for ppl that want a very nice historical-flight simulator...
lol looks like Ghost was mad at me :P, now he will be more.
I didnt want to hurt u Ghost!
[OT]
BTW If I were anybody in HTC I would have kept a smaller, but solid, group of customers that really enjoy the flight simulation realism, who stays for long in AH, not 1 - 2 months and leave. Also when some1 new join the community they go to TA before hurting others ears and spam in country channel.. [/OT]

I really enjoy Scenarios, they got an historical plane set, infact I had the best fights in that!
Sunday European Campaign:  Hurri and spits1  vs  109E   =  Awesome!
I would more people to try them, I'm sure they will change their mind

Did u guys take a look at Warbirds Freehost?  I did.

LOL no I'm not mad at you chewie, I just don't like RPS's. They suck IMO.

HTC is about keeping a broader customer base, so they actually pay the bills btw.

Anything that keeps people from flying is a no no.

Looked at in that regard RPS just doesn't make sense.

By all means, get into FSO, best flying in AH.

Freebirds? LOL long long ago and far far away.

But with flat rate pricing there is no real reason for freehost. Was different when we were all paying 2$ an hour.

I would get in FSO... not so Euro-user-friendly  event's start time..
With thousands of subscribers they cant pay the bills?  Ok.. Since u have more experience than me I believe you.  I'm still doubtful tho :uhoh

Ok now I have your opinion about RPS. What about the others ? I wish to have a larger feedback about...

BTW I mentioned warbirds free host cause it still has an RPS and still having his subscribers, and despite of it is a mid 1995's graphic game it has hundreds of players (est europe or russians with old PCs)

Well you can hardly use freehost as an example. They were a Russian rip off of Warbirds. You might not be able to say they killed Warbirds, but you can make a pretty strong point that they were partially responsible for its death.
