The weathering looks rather random in places, and there's some funky stuff on your port elevator.

The rivets are way too prominent, and look like raised dome-head rivets more than the almost-invisible recessed rivets.

Overall I think it's okay, but I think the rivets really draw all the attention away from the skin. I can't vouch for the color choices, though, as I don't specialize in RAF colors. They look a little bland. Mind you that's totally subjective on my part and they're probably spot on for all I know  :D

Is there a difference between the spit skins? always noticed they were all the same ! :uhoh I mean unless i look at them closely
generally have same color what not, not like a p51/p47 or german planes.

RAF aircraft were painted in standardized camo patterns, the colours involved depended on the role of the aircraft in question and the geographical region it served in.  Paint scheme versions existed for both land and sea operations in both tropical and temperate areas.  It is worth noting that underside colours were not technically tied to the upper surface colour combinations.  For example, Azure Blue was adopted for use by units in tropical areas like Malta/N. Africa because Sky, at one time in widespread use by RAF day fighters over NW Europe, stood out like a sore thumb in other areas of the world.  Nationality markings were also standardized with regard to size and placement on the aircraft.  The use of colourful pre-war squadron markings (not unlike US FG markings as seen on wartime P-51/P-47s) was suspended for the duration of hostilities, and replaced by the use of code letters.

There are, of course, always exceptions to the rule...

You have to get away from Britain based fighters until you really see some differences.

Norweigans were infamous for their 'decorated' Spits.

Malta and North Africa had some unusual ones also.

Looks nice!  A couple of small points: Maybe it's just the screenie but the fuse roundel and ID markings on the wings seem to be different yellows.  They should be the same colour, I think the yellow used in the roundel is more accurate.  Also, the upper wing roundel would have been painted over top of the stencil line, not the other way around.

Is the first pic the "before" or is that after tweaking?

Still seems like the rivets are too 3D to me, but it definitely looks better.

Shouldn't the squadron codes be reversed on the right side?  In reading order, left to right on both sides vs. the American practice of squadron code forward of national insignia and individual code after?
