Special News Report about US current stock market crisis
« on: September 24, 2008, 08:17:59 PM »
I'm a New Yorker here, and I don't know if this broadcast was nationwide, but it seems that our country is going through another Great Depression (or a small minor one), a long with a market crash. So, watch out, in the next few months or weeks, something's is going to happen, and whatever it is, it WILL happen.  :frown:
 :uhoh

EDIT: This happened around 9:00PM EST Time.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

It's always awful times.  It's always the worst it's going to be.

God forbid in 20 years when it's exponentially worse, regardless of what happens.

I might soon consider buying some stock (other than the kind that says "moo") for the first time in my life.

No, we didn't see it, only New Yorkers are let in on the secret stuff, like Network News Specials.       :D

Well, looks like the guy that was wearing the president suit tonight managed to accomplish his objective.. scared the pants offa kids and folks that don't watch the news or otherwise have any contact with national or world affairs.

Score one for the pale guy that looked like a deer in the headlights...

Since the gubment is throwing all this money around and McCain is saying we should jumpstart the American Auto industry,  I am strongly considering putting some money into GM.

When Biden says we should step up and be patriotic, maybe he's right.  Only instead of confiscating and redistributing, allow us to invest where we see fit.

How many of the older guys in here are still kicking themselves for not buying a boatload of Chrysler in about 1978...

Times are tough but those with level heads and the will to risk stand to come out on the other side of smelling like a rose.

(psst.. Dred, the prez broke in on the networks at 9:00 eastern with a 'panic' speech to herd folks to back the bailout)

When did it become fashionable for a president to actually use the word "panic"?  I wonder how many old folks' pacemakers kicked over once or twice tonight.  Unreal, that guy.  What a Buffoon.  Legions of pensioners are hitting the ATM's as week speak, I imagine.
