I got a bud in my AW squad who's rather handicapped. He's in a wheelchair and only has 1 arm he can use. And not all the fingers work on that arm. Naturally, he's having trouble with all the things you have to do at once in AH. He only has so many buttons on his stick near his functioning fingers.
So I was wondering if you could implement a few options that might help him w/out being things that would detract from the overall realism. Had a couple things in mind, as examples:
1. Padlock Views
This would enable him to be able to use flaps, trim, etc, while keeping an eye on the nme, like all us guys with both hands can do. I see this as a win-win. He gets to fly better than he can now and the rest of us get all these padlock-fixated FA dweebs to blindside

.
2. Holddown Norden Sight
Make it an option that you don't have to keep KP0 depressed to keep the bombsight view going. Say have it so if you want to, you can press KP0 once to look down and it stays there, then you look up by pressing it again.
Stuff like that. I don't see how things like this would give able-bodied guys an unrealistic advantage, but it would sure help the handicapped pilots. And if you made them options, nobody would have to use them if they don't want to.
Anyway, please give this sort of thing some consideration. It would make at least 1 squad, and 1 guy in particular, real happy. And who knows, you might get in a wreck tomorrow and be in the same shape yourself....
