Because that silly piece of cloth represents this country and everything this country stands for. Why the hell do you think it's drapped over the coffins of those who served this country and gave their very lives for it?

I swear to God, people that make statements like that should have their teeth punched out. There should be a law allowing it for anyone who ever proudly served under that flag.

Now IMHO violence is JUST like anything else, IT HAS IT'S PLACE.

When the supreme court ruled that kickin some edjets butt for burnin the flag was violating his 1st Amendment rights my response was the person doing the kickin was practicin their 1st Amendment rights just in a different manner.

There is only so much a person can or should have to stand..............

IIRC that is a legitimate argument in a court of law.

Any one that come back to this with the STOOOOPID violence never solves anything....

He's gotten too far left to really have as much of an honest shot at the presidency, IMHO...of course, many on here stated back at the beginning of the primary's that Obama wouldn't even get the nomination, but yet here he is.

The one thing that possibly could have saved the Dem's would have been to put an old-school FDR style candidate up there. But apparantly the party isn't run that way anymore.
