Another little side-dish I dabble with, even though its not done as well as it could have
been,is "18 wheels of steel". Mainly "American Long Haul". Because of so many online-
community games nowdays,I thought it might be a pretty attractive idea.
Started writing down the title and formula,I call it "Interstate USA". Without making
it too complicated, but yet entertaining, basically a "Social-Transportation-Career"
online game.
1. Begin your career with "X" amount of money and simple local delivery jobs, working
your way up to the big trucks and your own company.(You would have to make "X"
amount before starting your own, along with having at least "X" people sign up to
join your company.(Like a "Guild" or "Squad".)
2. You can also have a career playing as a patrolman, where you would interact
with player and non-player characters.
3. Use your money to buy Trucks, trailers and even civilian vehicles. "Radio-Channel" community
keeps you in loop with friends and other players.
4. Social gathering places such as truck-stops where you can use your personalized
"Driver-Character" that you can fully customize at the start of the game.
Even had a list of truck model-names such as; Porterbuild,Kenway,Mark,
Ottocab,Wright and Freightlane.
Thats just a start, but big question is, would this be popular enough, or could
it be interesting enough to be an online game?
