The word "Hero" gets thrown around pretty loosely particularly in Washington. Not so with John McCain.  :salute

I won't vote for him. But calling John McCain a coward is wrong.

"Swiftboating" their own candidate? I don't really think that's what they are up to. They're probably just forcing McCain to go along with them-as a senator, not as a candidate. They want him to help them oppose the Bill that Bush want's; His help will really help them block it.

What I think is funny is all the posturing that osamabinbiden did on saying how important it was for America to hear the candidates debate because we needed to hear how they felt on the mess "more now than ever" and then...

They both danced around the subject without saying a damn thing..  osama even more than Mccain.

Nothing was said at the debates that either of them hasn't said lately after refining it with 3 years of stumping for pres.

Obama rarely answered a single question, he was only slightly better than that arrogant twit John Kerry, who always answered "I  have a plan", but never explained what a single one of his plans entailed.  Yet the demodummies loved the phony, now they love the new version of the phony.
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
