....Barney should be shot, hung, and prosecuted for his role in the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac fiasco.  If even half of the allegations against his refusal to properly use his oversight committee for, well, "oversight", of their ludicrous lending practices is true, then he is guilty of arrogant malfeasance.  Because of his actions, the public is being saddled with tens of billions of dollars of payments to keep them from going belly-up.

At the very least, he should be censured and removed from that committee.

I'll not sit on a hot stove until that happens.  As far as the press is concerned, his sorry butt appears to be sacrosanct.

Isn't that the irony?  He waddles out before the cameras with Pelosi daily and points the finger at Republicans.

I was also hoping that during the Presidential Debate, McCain would point out the Democrats, on multiple occasions, blocked efforts to oversee Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.  McCain himself wrote the bills they refused to debate!

Its one thing to blame both sides...its quite another when one side is very guilty and its "politically incorrect" to point that out!
