Commie News Network Says the Debate is ON
« on: September 26, 2008, 11:59:11 AM »
McC says he'll be in Mississippi for the big dance.

(Because they'll both be dancin' around the questions.)

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

You sure he's going to be there, or is this just another ploy?  Maybe he's going to show up but stay silent in protest.

makes the entire rush to Dc a little silly considering they don't have a "rescue plan" and both have flown off.
I was hoping McCain would stick to his guns and stay in DC into something got hammered out ....

Not only that, but yesterday, when he got to Washington, he said nothing. He said that "I defer to the more senior members of my party on this issue", and then sat there and said nothing.

Wow. So glad you ducked the American people for that. And by the way, the deal isn't done.

Yah, because we all know the real negotiating and arm-twisting in DC goes on in front of the cameras and reporters.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms.   I believe he made a mistake with this one.  The foreign policy debate was supposed to be his strong suite.  If Obama can bring the debate around toward domestic economics, Obama will have it in the bag.  Gonna be a lot of fun tonight either way.

Hmmmm watch the debate or go to the bar, eat, drink, and be merry, and if I'm lucky be with Mary afterwards.

Think I'm going out tonight, besides I don't need to watch the debates, I already know who I'm voting for, or rather against.

Good for you...seriously.

Far too many knuckleheads in your country get swayed by the silliness that happens in the lead-up to the election.

Wasn't Obama there too?  What did he say, "Present"?

It's just a few hours. I think McCain was probably intrumental in stopping a bad plan from rushed through. He can go back to work tomorrow.
