It is a Finnish(i think) symbol for luck i believe that's why it's light blue. There's a few other planed with there  markings, a 109 skin and a hurricane Mk. I skin.

The swastika was adopted in the roundel of the Finnish air force in 1918, long before the National Socialist Party was even founded. The swastika itself is an ancient symbol, used by cultures around the world. As VC said it's a symbol for good luck if I remember correctly.
The swastikas on Finnish aircraft have nothing to do with the Nazis. Which is why they're in game.

As I recall, the swastika was originally a symbol of good fortune and what have you in the far east (namely Tibet). The original one had the outer straight limbs going to the right. Meaning the swastika was more or less revesed from what we now associate it with. The Nationalists got ahold of it and flipped it to where the outer limbs turn left. It went from clockwise (think of it as a pinwheel) to counter-clockwise. You'd be hard pressed nowadays to find someone that didn't interpret the swastika as a symbol of hate. There are still old statues of Buddah and other gods that feature a "swastika" on their forefront. It's original meaning was noble and peaceful. It's context nowadays may as well be the antichrist, or at the least some horrid reminder of the Nazi regime.

Anyone who objects to the depiction of the Nazi variation of the swastika within its historical context--like, oh, say a movie, TV show or computer/video game set in Europe during WWII--deserves a smack to the back of the head with a 2x4.

I hear that some plastic model kits now are actually removing swastika decals from Luftwaffe aircraft, and even from the killboards of kits for Allied fighters.

The problem is that some of the 'enlightened' countries of Europe have outlawed the symbol.  So models, toys, games etc don't allow it to be shown so they can market overseas.

Ok, so we'll need a LOT of 2x4s. And most of us will probably need plane tickets. But it CAN be done!

That's why we have to ditch the Swaatika in AH isn't it? The German government cracks the sads about computer games with the swastika in it? I agree that this ridiculous. 190s just don't look right without that big Swastika on the tail.

Finnish blue swastika (hakaristi) famously used on the Finnish aircraft during the war was not a Nazi symbol. Apart from aircraft, different designs of the swastika was used on armoured vehicles, awards (Order of the Cross of Freedom for example), the Anti-Aircraft Artillery, the Lotta Svärd organization (female auxiliaries) and on flags (for example the one used by the President 1920-1944) to name a few examples.

It was originally a Hindi symbol of luck used by the family of the Swedish Count Eric von Rosen who donated the first aircraft, a Thulin D Parasol (a license-built Morane-Saulnier L), to the Finnish (White) Army 6 Mar 1918 during the Finnish War of Independence (or Finnish Civil War).

It was adopted as the national marking of the Finnish Air Force in honour of him and later on also by the Army.

After the war, the swastika was abandoned as a symbol and instead a blue and white roundel was adopted.

Another example of swastika use during the inter-war period not influenced by the German NSDAP was the red swastika used by Latvia as the national symbol on their aircraft.
