Debating on playing him or not...my only back up is Darren Sproles. I think Johnson would have a better game then Sproles since LT is mainly back. Suggestions?

The Lions are terrible and they're playing the Bears, one of the best defenses in the NFL.  Who are the Chargers playing?  If its someone bad, Sproles all the way.

Always play a starter over a backup. Even if the starter is just barely a starter. And on a sucky team.

I am not starting Rudi in my lineup. I will probably pay for it like I did last time when he broke out with 19 points BUT I can't catch a break in the NFL fantasy stuff.

Yeah man, that's what happened to me and needless to say I was pretty pi$$ed. Especially when Kenny watson got a whopping 1 point.
I'm going to go ahead and start him, because I think that Sproles will not play much at all with LT back in full strength.

Sproles had 24 yards rushing, 23 receiving.

Johnson had 23 yards rushing, 9 receiving.

Both were pretty bad options, Sproles would have been slightly better or the same depending on your league's rules.

Yup, Rudi got 2 pts, Sproles had 4. Not much of a diff. I have Fred Taylor, Brees and Moore, have to get 32 points out of the 3 of them to win this week.
Think Brees can pull off another 30 point game? Still, if he get's 20 they'll be a good chance that his #1 WR right now, Lance Moore, will get a couple TD's. Plus I have Fraud Taylor :P to play as well...he ain't that amazing, but some games he can pull off 10 points or so.

I realized that I must be a frigging curse on someone in the NFL for fantasy rankings. Every time I pick someone decent they get injured and then suck for a year or so. Last year I picked Marvin Harrison and Antonio Gates...both ended up out most of the season and were relegated to the unable to drop list in the AH fantasy league...stupid list IMO!

Anyway it is happening again this year. I picked up Vince Young and the dude went head case and messed himself up early in the season. I also have Peyton Manning and Drew Brees of the two Drew has been smokin so far and Peyton has been getting better. Now I have a hard decision to make soon if I want to offer up a trade or something to get a top tier RB for one of those guys.

First of all, how many people are in your fantasy league? Don't think I'd ever join a league in which my backups to LT are Sproles and Johnson.
