Damn this song is stuck in my head!  I still have the old vinyl LP in my closet from when I was young 16 yr old squeaker.   I'm  40 yrs old now!


How popular was Adam and the Ants over in England?  Was he at all or just a passing fad?    When I discovered him on MTV I thought I found the newest and coolest.

I was stationed there from 1980-1983- Adam and the Ants was very popular on a TV show called Top of the Pops. There was another guy that was a regular on the show in them days. I think his name was Shakin Stevens. Oh yeah there was another group something like Ian Druery and the Blockheads.  :lol
 I've forgoten many of the others from that era.

I had forgotten about stand and deliver... the only 2 i really remembered by adam and the ants were goody two shoes and strip
