The "A3" in the top picture looks like it comes from the Alexander Martin Lippisch school of design.  ;)

Heh, nothing comes to mind right now that couldn't be found out in 5 minutes using Google. :) I remember reading something about the Finnish Air Force's pilots' experiences with the type but nothing exact comes to mind.

Well here's something...

Why is the following bit (at least in my opinion) slightly misleading?

"Only three of a planned total of 25 from the original French order were sent to Finland, and these were not taken into service until the Winter War 1939-40 with the Soviet Union was over. Deliveries to the Armee de I'Air started in February 1940,..."

Hmm...dunno, there might be something up with the photobucket´at times. Displays fine atleast at the moment. How does it show for others?

It is more likely that you find more pics of it on wheels rather than on floats (I'm a bastard aren't I? :D). :)

And...the manufacturer is European. :D
