Flettner FI 185, booyaaaaaa
The pic is of the one and only prototype of that model that was abandoned after a few tests near the ground.  The one and only FI 184 prototype caught fire in 1936.  They were meant to be used by the German Navy for recon and anti-submarine capabilities.
