Be careful, the Russians flew a lot of French aircraft during that time.

What time? I assume you're thinking WWI.... but that cowling, to me, looks too well done for a 1914-1918 aircraft... maybe WWII?

I thought that red star might throw you off for a while. :) OTOH those straight numbers are very much unlike the ones Soviets used during WWII, so I figured those might set you somewhat on the right track. :)
