I think it's best for the squad to decide the best path and please give then some slack.
Eventually all squads go through challenging times and someone has to step up to the plate.
Please give whoever it is some berth and let them regroup.
They should of course let the CM's know what is going on, but often the one taking over is concerned with the squad first and might not think of everything and everyone right away.
It might be best to contact them directly and not do a public post.
Been there a couple of times.

I don't know what you are trying to say. But I think you are misunderstanding what I am talking about.
If you are implying that we should let squads decide if they want to start a new squad of the same name, simply because there is a change of leadership, Then NO, they don't get to decide that.
If your squad is to remain the same squad and is only getting a new CO or XO, there is absolutely no reason to start a new squad with the same name on the AH events site. All that will do is cause confusion and more work for all involved.
If all that is happening is, a change of leadership, then all that needs be done is putting that information in the AH events site for the squad that is already registered.
I can do this, or the out going CO / XO can do it.
And NO, it does not need be public, I never implied it needed to be.
