FLAMEWARRIORS.NET - YOU'RE INVITED
« on: October 06, 2008, 11:39:12 AM »
I respect HTC's decision to eliminate politics, religion and race from their BBS. I'm sure it was taking up too much of their time policing these boards.

However, I always felt I learned something from those debates, even the heated ones. I don't think you ever really know your own position until you have to logically defend it and I think you always learn something from opposing viewpoints that are also logically defended.

Therefore, you're invited to visit www.flamewarriors.net , a BBS that Nuke started. It is unmoderated, so wear your asbestos undies. There are about 120 members so far, most of them migrants from this board. The BBS uses the same software so it will be very famliar.

You will find the same mix of folks over there. There's some purty smart fellers, some average joes, some that are challenged in the logic area and one or two that post drivel and are there mainly to entertain themselves with flaming insults. All in all, it's very much like here except that there is no adult supervison; in fact there is no supervision at all.

I think there is benefit to HTC here or I wouldn't be posting this. Instead of trying to push the limits here, making more work for Pyro and Skuzzy and getting yourself into trouble.... just go someplace where political and religious discussions are common and accepted.

Flamewarriors is not all flame by the way. There are other forum topics like hobbies, pets, jobs, etc., etc.

Guests can view the forums at this time, so drop by and see what you think.

And give HTC a rest.

So I can continue pulling your fragile precious wings off.

found a load of information on this guy. I'll post some links for you guys when I get home.
Basically, the guy has been booted off of many boards for the same stuff he started here, but that's not the fun part.

The fun part is:
I have his real name, address, phone number and court records. He's 57 years old and has had about 8-12 criminal complaints filed against him, including assault. He has been sued also.

Maybe he shouldn't have been fing with me/us. I tried calling him and got an answering machine.

So this is the moderator of your boards?  Gee that really makes me want to sign up.

Unfortunately flamewarriors is blocked by my server.  Looks like I'll have to go back to doing my job all day...

Nuke runs the board. Before you judge, read the stuff flaglerwhatever posted and the things he did to Txmom and read the threads here where he was repeatedly banned by Skuzzy. Then see what you think.

I, for one, was thankful to Nuke in that regard (Thank you again, Nuke). The twit he was talking about gathered all of my personal information (name, home address, phone number, email addresses, information from a non-profit organization that I'm a board member of) and posted it.  Then when I responded, he changed all of my "quotes" around & sent them to the leaders in my local community as if to make it appear that I was addressing them instead of the puke.

So, Mojava, before you pass judgement ~ it's probably a good idea to know what the story is.

LOL we can live without. There are many other things to talk about.... and the fact is... those subjects are inflamatory.

One problem I see is the fact that there are alot of other things that will be cut out because they lead to discussions of the now tabu subjects.
