That such airfields are immune from vehicular attack.  I tried to get both vehicles up to an airfield on a hill, and neither could handle the grade.

HTC, was it your intention to bar some airfields from tank attack?  Just asking really

Yes, that was done purposely.  You should be able to slowly climb up the hills.  However, at an airfield like that, it is best to drive an M16 up to it, and park in the valley to wait for some unsuspecting enemy planes to take off.  I got 4 kills in my first vehicle run that way.

HEy all,

I tried taking M-16 up a hill, (just a general purpose steep hill, not one with an airbase on top) and the M-16 just stopped and slid back down.

Same thing in gear 1, with full throttle.

Hills need more friction or vehicles need more power and/or friction.  Or something.

Delta im fairly sure you can climb most hills. But you can't drive straight up them.

Try angle back and forth.

angling back and forth the vehicles tend to turn toward down hill.  It's a major pain having to hold the stick forward and try to steer while spending 15min or more tryin to climb a hill.
