M3 harder than Tiger...

I have been wondering a looooong time the vulnerability vs. lethality between different vehicles. For example, I have seen lots of LVTs and M3s made of titanium/kevlar or similar unbreakable material...
Ok with that.
But now its gone a bit too far:
A short glimpse of M3 detracking my Tiger! I really had to push hard with my MG to kill that M3!

From the looks of it, that M3 put several hundred rounds of ammunition into your tracks... the tiger has an 88mm, may have been a better idea to use that than an MG34...

  I've had M-8s also that were not stopped by Tiger after 2 hits with main gun only to have my turret taken out. I think the Tiger has been defanged from the time it was very hard to kill.

The 88mm is a nice m3 killer btw, make sure to hit the engine compartment though. I have had rounds go through the troop bay without kiling them, since there isn't a vital part in it.

when killing thin-skinned transport and light armor, use HE rounds. AP will usually just blow through.

You can kill any tank, even Tigers, with a Jeep.

Had all too many HE rounds from my M4 bounce off M3's. Seems the HE ammo is in need of a bit of tweaking, even drunks running on the ground need a direct hit to kill them with HE.

YMMV but I've spent a lot of time in GV's and this has been my experience.

my m3's and lvt's sure as heck aren't made out of anything more than cardboard.

The other day I had an m3 take two direct 88mm hits from my tiger and it didnt die, I have bouned off m3's before but never seen them take 2 direct hits before and live.

The M8 is UBER. Perk The M8!

never shoot HE with the intent to hit the target. shoot your HE rounds infront of the target and let it hit the ground right infront of them. that is where you will get the most damage with your HE rounds. i have killed panzers with a T-34 with nothing but HE rounds before.

Sounds like the m8 was eating supplies until one of his buddies had a vis on you.
