The last time I bailed on the htc forums due to a forum rule change, it seemed like all they did was complain about the rules and fling poo at each other.

I guess I don't have the emotional investment in political poo flinging that some others have :)  I used to get all upset about that sort of thing, but I think I grew up and I just can't get that upset about the rules in a "free" forum that someone else is paying for.

If I'm going to get upset about anything done by HTC, it's going to be about how heavy flak seems to always find me if I don't launch from capped fields (because I'm the only retard who wants to launch from a safe field therefore the flak has nobody but me to shoot at) and how 8-player H2H got turned off.   But HTC knows my opinion about that and they stuck with their decisions in those areas, so again even those topics aren't worth getting too upset about.

Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

It was around before HTC decided to kill this place. It sounds worse then it is, sure there is some flaming, but there is also a core group of good guys over there. Most of the from the old days.

You never know tell you check it out.

My life is complicated enough without one more website to suck up my time and make me "stupider".  Nothing against the new site or even most of the people who say they are abandoning this forum, but I thought most of the stuff that got recently banned was pretty dumb and trollish anyhow.  The ratio of legit political discussion to outright flames and trolls was pretty low.  There are political forums out there that have real political experts posting in them, so if I want to talk politics I'll go someplace with a better signal/noise ratio.

For that matter, whatever happened to AGW?  I thought that's where all the kids who were too cool for skool hung out...
