I've been playing this game for almost a year.  Currently saving up to pass the 3,000 infrastructure mark.

And SubwayCH, join an alliance ASAP.  Otherwise you'll get tech raided, and it is rarely possible to hold your own in this game.  I have only ever seen one person do it, and he had stockpiled about $290,000,000

The Federation of Buccaneers?  Yeah, I'm in.  They seem like nice dudes, and fairly organized as well.  One of them contacted me and I jumped on it.  I dig cash infusions for newbs.

I think they offer 100k per new recruit... so if anyone would care to join, let me know.

Okay, I have started up a country.  It reminds me of simcountry, I played that forever ago.  I built up a good empire after forcefully taking 7 countries, and eventually acquired chemical weapons...but I went down in flames after running out of resources and no alliances it support me financially.  

I hope to have a powerful military again, but this time without the whole going down in flames part

Anyone in an alliance yet?  Is there an AH one?

With a nation name like that you really won't last long at all.  I occasionally go on Nazi-hunts in the game when I'm bored, and something like that would a) immediately turn up on one of my searches, and b) would go on my list to send to my alliance leader.

In addition, there's a good chance that you may not be accepted by the alliance you try to join.

That's a shame, I don't see the big deal in trying to achieve world domination in a game.  I don't see how you or your alliance would be much better though, going on "nazi hunts"...killing nations that are trying to fulfill their dictatorial fantasies in a game .

I'm not that far in, maybe I will rename it "Obamastan".
