   Nice raid guys.  JG11 enjoyed it.

My only issue was that there were so many aircraft in one spot, a lot of icons weren't showing up, with little dots instead (not foo-fighters).

I just watched the film.  After my last B-17 kill "veryold" chased me all the way to the deck from 25k ft and abandoned his bombers.  I didn't know that the Ta-152 out dives the P-51D, but in fact it does.

It seems like there were dozens of P-51D pilots who didn't know what they were doing up there, just to sweeten the deal for us.

I took the 152 up the first sortie and blew my pass.
Went from 30k to 10 in a matter of secs. 
then 2nd sortie i took my K4 love machine up.
scored a few kills and p00f. The white screen of death

A very fun event.

My FPS were pretty terrible around the main bomber group, but can't complain. One thing though that happened to me that was extremely odd- my first pass on the main bomber group in a 262 I tore into a B-17 with all 4 30mm and he exploded. I never got the kill message, nor did I get credit for him when I landed my other kills for that sortie. And yes, I am sure he was killed.

Two things it could have been
1) I assumed there was a coughup somewhere between my front end and the server at that moment, and the kill was never logged. But I've never ever seen that happen before.
2) Someone else killed him at the same time. But, I now that I think about it, I would have got an assist at least, because I saw my rounds hitting (hit sprites are only visible for your own rounds)

I'd love to see someone's film if they could provide it. This occurred fairly early in the mission, right around the time when the bombers were directly over that port on an island (I think it was P110?). Is anyone posting film?

I had planned to intercept the bomber stream about 30 miles or 20 from their target, even though most of us knew what was going on long before then. This would enable the bombers to be successful and allow those that died almost instantly to reup in 109Ks and make the tail end of the formation as they egreesed.

I wasn't really pleased that the bomber formation had enemy a/c on their stream even before they left the coastline and this wasn't not under my control. I had also hoped to get some kind of word from Delta but I never received anything from him. Drawbacks aside, I only hope that a mission like this isn't a 'one time only' because quite a few had fun.

Yep, great fun.  Like Del, I hope this wasn't a one time only affair and we see this happen more often in the LW arenas.

I had great fun! I kept snekaing in betwene the bomber layer and the p47's... got 6 buffs before a jug hit my oil and one elevator... managed to land my smokinh tempest on a burning and turning cv... good job Rook strategic bombers!

Wow that was an Awsome misson. I dont think ive ever seen 6 full enemy darbar's at once before! That was intense action tangling with all the pony's and jugs. Im not used to fighting at 25k+ si it was a gun learning experience. I hope you guys run more of these.

Great fun, great mission and great numbers, perhaps too many for the game that converted all the 262s  and 190s into little dots with no labels which didnt show up within 1 k from you.

I guess nits and bish will never have the capacity to put up a mission like ours was.

  to the Rooks for an awesome mission. That was cool to see all those bombers and fighter escorts in one place. I got a couple kills before i got shot down but i had a blast. That is what makes this game fun.
