When cartoon pilot life in AH is at it's best
« on: October 08, 2008, 12:57:30 AM »
Rolling into a fight with a wingman, on this flight it being Soulyss.

Coming out the other side of the fight, shot to pieces, but still flying....barely.  Typical Headhunter 38s :)

Not doctored. Lovely new Tunisian terrain. Big  :salute to whoever created it. No more "Green Hills of Africa" for us during our desert warfare.

The second reason that Corky's pic must be doctored is the fact that we all KNOW that corky has never left a furball with an engine still intact.... :noid
Not to mention the vertical stabilizers, the gear, both booms, etc, etc

Missing half the right wing and the engine on it too... must of been fun to land (got a video of it?).

The landing wasn't too bad, even for me.  We lucked out as we came in on a straight line to the runway so no need to try and turn it which would have made it tougher.

As I told him last night, I figure he had betters odds on that landing than a more conventional one, what with all the practice and all. :)

A P 38 that big would totally crush that hanger, sitting on the roof like that  :lol

This is the Captain.  We have a lil' problem with our entry sequence so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.
