Avengers Wed night mission

The Avengers are planning a bombing mission in the AVA tonight Wed Oct 8. We will be flying Axis and using the Ju-88 as well as escorts. Start time for the mission is appx 2000hrs CST. We are in need of additional bomber pilots as well as escorts. At this time the target is classified and will be revealed on a need to know basis prior to take off. Any fight type escorts should ctc Col Lutrell prior to the mission and and bomber volunteers ctc me Maj OldBull. All are invited, fly with us or try to stop us, its your call.

Nobody can fault us for trying.
However after last nights debacle I am at a loss for words

The AVA seems to be no longer a Place to look forward to a strategic war of Allies vs Axis.
It seems more of a place for strategic furballing .

The rules and conditions set for each scenario are so far off base it ridiculous.

The Planes that are given seem to be dumbed down .

I have compared same plane model from AVA and in the Orange Arena to find the results very discouraging
As to not find myself the only person doing these test I have asked some people who only fly in the other maps to try the models in the AVA to find they have the same results.

Couple that with cheats that are happening without the ability to prove it I think has a lot of people now staying away from the AVA

Its a sad time when something as promising as the AVA arena Idea is smothered out just so a few can have there way .

I'm not giving up but unless there is further participation I cannot see it progressing further.

Further more on another thought

Why is it people in other arena's in Aces do not even understand what the idea behind the AVA is?

Most have no clue what it is even for.

Perhaps a strong marketing strategy to the other Maps would help out getting more heads in that arena

Not sure what you're talking about with the planes... I just did a test with the La5FN, 50% fuel, in the AvA and offline and the results were the same... Acceleration, climb rate (both zoom climb and sustained climb), stall characteristics, turn rate, and stall speed were identical.
You're aware that the MA has a 2.00 fuel burn while the AvA (and almost all the rest of the arenas for that matter) have a 1.00 fuel burn correct?

You forgot to test the distance a round should be able to go before it no longer matters

And how many shots it should take before a bird is shot out of the sky

and How many shells it takes to either kill a panzer if it actually can happen

880 some yards offline and in the AvA.
The other two would be impossible to test, especially because it seems that HTC coded some amount of 'random-ness' into it.

The only people who showed were teh tardwhackers. I think I spelled that right. There were a few others. Just out of curiosity..... where has everyone gone? We use to announce a bomb raid and the arena would have some 40-50 people in there for the showdown.

So here is how I look at it

Those that talk seem to be upset about IT Are either guilty of it and scared they will get caught

My motto cheating gets you there quicker but you will always be caught So don't cheat,,,

Because of my Opinion and POST I was a victim tonight .

Of Larry and his HO.ing along with Storch and his super Vulching

You couldn't get off the ground, Hell you couldn't even get 15 mph

I was told to STFU you  noob, I have the SS of it

It seems Larry and Storch and the tardwackers   Are upset about the cheat comment WOW IM FLATTERED .

( BTW I am seriously offended by that name " teh tardwackers "and anybody that has a person that has MS or a Person born with a  Handicap should be just as offend as I am . Its not PC and really shows no respect to such people . I can tell you people in my place of work have been be fired instantly for such make fun of's

Most are very good at the game and get bored of the same ol thing

Some have to find a way to kick it up a notch "BAM" and adjust there internals

These people in the past become my friend when they finally meet ( Perhaps its my charming personality ) Who knows a 6'5" 258 pound Italian from the east coast is usually very friendly, especially if he has some brociall, broccli rabbe and a bottle red wine

I am a simple kind of guy

I like to play this game on my spare time , in between my real work for the FED Gov"t part of Banking

Ohh BTW

FYI, all of this has happened before, all of this will happen again, and again, and again. You are pissing in the wind with complaints about other players and cheating in these forums. Email HTC and voice your concerns, it is the only acceptable course of action on this BBS. You are responsible for you and that's all you can do. Note this is advice and I am not here to debate. Do as you wish.
