JG/11 has some of the best 109 sticks around. If you're into Luftwaffe iron, be sure to give them a call.  :salute

I'm sure I made plenty of mistakes.  Not to mention missing with the tater at a few critical moments.  I rarely get to fight good P-47 pilots, so it doesn't surprise me that I was at a loss for how to proceed.  For the rest of the community here, my biggest problem was following Talen through those low speed pitch ups he would perform just as it appears that I'm about to line up a shot.  Even with a notch or two of flaps, the 109K-4 does not like that much AoA.  I've had more success in a 109G-6 vs D-11s for that reason: you can pitch up at very low speeds against the defensive tactic that talen used with success in our fight.

Seconds after the fight was over I ran out of gas but successfully ditched. :lol

:salute Talen, I would love to do it again sometime.

Wow, I'm watching the film.  I really deserved to die like a dweeb when I overshot during the first skirmish.  Lucky you missed!

6:15, you're firing at me and only doing 70mph! :lol
