Whatever you decide, don't get suckered into joining Army of Muppets. a bunch of juvenile behaving, foul mouthed drunks. There's no serious squad cohesion at all.  All the Muppets want to do is goof off and have fun, no organization whatsoever.

welllll, there's your problem!!!!

who the he#$ said you could have FUN? :rofl

I can remember flying in a squad, and we were damn good.Does anyone remember JUDE. Lol. anyways seasons change. Cohesion online is no different then in the real world. Married couples don't stay married. Familiarity breeds contempt. just be carefull who you deal with.

Thanks folks...Good advice all.  i have flown with Killumanati and with Jokers jokers.  Both squads rock and would be honored to be invited. i think i will take the advice given and fly solo for a while.

What was your name in AW3 ? I started about a month before you and flew AW for a lil over 2 years .

In AWIII I was known as lowfly.  Or Low for short. The Air pirates were a great bunch of guys and we were well organized and it was a lot of fun.  i miss it but i will try to be more selective in who i chose to flyt with from now on.  Thanks again for the advice

In the end it's all about having fun, and hanging out with good people.

People have different reasons for starting squads or being in them.  To each his own.

I think the hardest part is avoiding taking yourself and your squad seriously.  I also believe that some squads get too big, too fast and implode on themselves when the personalities start to clash.   Part of that is it's easy to get fired up about the latest and 'greatest', as well as belonging.  I look at the old 475th of which I was a part as a classic example.  It was great fun, then we started getting serious and thinking we mattered.  keeping folks happy got tough, friction started to build and boom, we imploded.  You'll find the remnants scattered among the 80th, Muppets, 39th and elsewhere.  All good guys, but it took that to remind us we just weren't that big a deal and having fun is the key.

It is after all just a name after your ID.  Getting to know folks from all the countries and all the squads is not a bad thing.  Take your time, fly with different groups and find out what crew fits for you.  Gotta have fun with it :)

best advise is to play the game and learn the best squads,  ask them if you can tag along or ask them if you could be a one night member to see if you like there ways or not.

check the squads back ground like i did to see if there long lasting or not,  with the L.T.A.R.'s  theres even a WIKIPIDIA page on us here at
http://www.aboutus.org/Ltar.org

here with the LTAR's you need to be well rounded in knowledge with most rides to do well in what you know,  there kinda strict but its a family nun the less and we have fun joking around but when we get togethere and do something, we do, or die as one but we have fun doing it,  maby you can be LTAR if you work at it. or another squad but keep trying and playing, youll get there and find the best squads to join in time..  just look at what there is to offer you and your talent.

The DEA is real loose and always looking for some new members.  Wonder and Wet can teach tanks, Bhawk can learn ya in bombers, and the rest of us are willing to help.  If you want to learn and move on, good for you.  Look us up, we are rooks most of the time.
