Skuzzy posted this ...

We have been going through and cleaning up the game ID database, and a side result of that is a squad could be disbanded if the CO of the squad is no longer a subscriber to the game.

Simply reform your squad under an active CO.

This could have been the reason.
So why are we still active?  Lev is balls deep in Elfing dweebery I haven't seen that poser in years.

If you're looking for a squad just go to squad forums and look for something reliable. spy on the leaders posts to make sure he's not a sweethearty.

Haven't been able to hear any oinks, it's just been loud squealing then a smell of bacon as an erratically flown plane goes down in flames! I spose pigs don't fly too well having no opposable thumbs... or fingers for that matter.

I flew AW for well over 5 years and stayed with the same squad. I came here last year and have been with the same squad I joined after a few months here. I have always enjoyed flying with the squads I have been a member of. Here is how I chose each squad.

First off when I started each new game I spent a few months just learning how to do it and what the community in the game was like.  Figured out what I liked and what I didnt like about the game and the community.

Then I started flying with those players that were IMO decent people. Over time I was invited to several squads. With each perspective squad I spent several weeks flying with them and participating in whatever they did. Eventually in both games, AW and AHII I found what IMO is a good squad that was populated with decent people that shared my style of play for that game.

In AW I flew with VF-63 Hellcats and here in AHII I fly with the SE's. IMO both are great squads and great people and a lot of fun.

I would recommend you try a similar approach and be patient until you find the right group of people to run with.

I have been playing this game for about three months now.  I am not as good as i want to be but i DO practice a lot and i played AWIII back in the day for over three years.

Since i have been playing AH,  I have been invited and joined two different squad (Muffin Munchers & Black Aces) within a few weeks the same thing happened.  The squads are disbanded and i am NEVER informed!  one night i log in and POOF!  No squad.  What the heck is up with that???  Maybe its my selection but The Black Aces are a great bunch of guys an di had a blast flying with them and then all of a sudden...Nothing. \

Maybe i will just have to be more selective in chosing my squad.  One of the main reasons i joined AH was to be in a squad.  I was a member of the AIR PIRATES in AW and NEVER left the squad,  They never disbanded and we had over 40 members!  If someone can enlighten me i would appriciate it very much.  Thanks.

If you're an adult, like laughing and don't take the comunity too serious the UNFORGIVEN is always open to new folks!! We certainly laugh at ourselves as much as we do the community tardlings  :aok  just tune vox to 163 and fly along, we can check each other out  <S>

Whatever you decide, don't get suckered into joining Army of Muppets. a bunch of juvenile behaving, foul mouthed drunks. There's no serious squad cohesion at all.  All the Muppets want to do is goof off and have fun, no organization whatsoever.

excellent advice. there is nothing wrong with not being in a squad. there's some out there that'll treat you as one of their own, regardless of your status....as long as you're decent people.
