Ack-ack is right about that.  PSU or big ten has been a week conference, especially in the past three years.  And USC has had a tough schedule, but not compare to SEC teams.
QFT
and by ranked you mean more team not in the top 15 right?  cause compared to a lsu or texas who plays team in the top ten. for weeks at a time.

Didn't Michigan won or tide a national champ.  Or was that before 1998.

I'm a little disappointed that no one yet has said it.

You suck at tenses.

If you really are from Ohio State, meaning you actually did graduate from a real college, you should give up at life.  I'm surprised that Ohio State hasn't threatened to sue you every time you mention that you are from Ohio State.

Look at USC's schedules for the last 5 years and you'll see as clear as day that USC has played more teams ranked in the Top 10 then any other college team compared to LSU and Texas.  Also, USC doesn't play Division 1AA or 1AAA schools like LSU and Texas regulary do.

Last post...

I agree with who ever it was that said there should be a playoff.....100%

EVery team sets up a schedule to make the best of the record they can. Early in the year is when they can make the hay. Sooner or later they have to get into conference play and most times that can be much more of a tougher road to hoe. Florida losing to Ole Miss was an anomoly I think...but they set up that game so they could have another win.

It's all smoke and mirrors until about 5 or 6 weeks into the season....Thats when things start to shake out. Flroida this past weekend put a royal beat down on LSU. Texas played a great game against Oklahoma. Mizzou and OK State played a good game. As the rest of the season goes on....we'll see if anyone get's thru undefeated.

Texas has 4 ranked teams to go....this after beatinig #1.

They may last...they may not....fact is they are #1 now...and will only drop from that if they lose or barley beat someone like Baylor or A&M while another top ranked team beats up on someone fairly good.

and we know the teams that usc has played weren't anywhere near good as people thought they were at the time.  Point and case Ohio State this year.  Arizona State every single year.  They shouldn't do rankings until the first BSC come out.  Utter point to proclaim someone a ranking until we have an idea of what they are.

Yeah, I totally agree with that, but it's still a funny write up.  Poor Lou Holtz.

Personally, all the big 12 teams will choke.  i hate that conference.

Ahh yes!  How right you were!  Chokelahoma did it again.  At least Texas came back to win against an undeserving BCS team in Ohio St.

SEC = Champions 3 yrs in a row....and 4 out of last six. :aok

yea, but Ohio State did make Texas look like a ass.   I am hoping Utah will finish #2 or #3.

Correct me if i am wrong.  didn't Oklahoma had a QB that won the Heismen a while back.  and the same year didn't Oklahoma play for the national championship and loss to a SEC team?

How right you are...in 2003 Chokelahoma and their Hypsman quarterback Jason White lost to LSU.

Of course that was the year that USC beat a 2-loss Michigan in the Rose Bowl, and the AP awarded them a split Nat'l championship....I say Tainted.

Did you even watch this guy play? Ever? Probably the best option QB to ever play the college game. The guy was freakin incredible.

Guys, these were hypsman winners.  This award has a storied legacy, however it's luster has dimmed.

The Heisman is for the best College player as voted on by a select club. The award has absolutely nothing to do with how well a player may or may not do in the NFL.
