I cant recall for sure, but I thought it was phyically impossible to put that clip in backwards or upside down.
Maybe part of the gender-tailored fitness test is that female officers must be able to jam an AR magazine into the weapon backwards? She sure won't accidentally shoot anyone that way, unlike that other famous vid where an excited female cop put a round into the ground a couple of inches from the face of a perp who had just been subdued and handcuffed.
Nothing against women cops mind you, but you gotta be careful which standards get gender-adjusted
