Why do you hate Spits?

Kinda found out that its the pilot not the plane..

In that case I should have roughly the same K/D in every fighter

But somehow I just can't get the same K/D in A Hurri I or C205 as I can get in a Spit XVI or Tempest ... ;)

It's not only the plane - but planes are our tools of the trade, and some tools are better / easier to handle then others. A good craftsman can overcome the limtiations of having bad tools, but only to some extend. Same as a very bad craftsman cant really benefit from having superior equipment.
But when having two pilots of some good & similar skill level, the differences of the respective planes may very likely decide the outcome of a fight.

Very true. The plane is what the pilot is...the pilot controls what the plane does. The plane has the abilities but the pilot needs to counter or exploit them. :)

I agree but we do have different areans that some what match up planes. I always said that the plane picks the pilot. Your game play will almost always agree with a certain type of aircraft. A great pilot can change their habits to take advtage of the modeling of each plane in the hangar. Other just squeak and bash players because from the start it was a unfair fight do to the model of aircraft.

During my time i never liked the idea of loosing do to better performing machine. So i started to learn that model find its weakness that way you could exploit it next time.

Bashing a certain model doesn't make you a God.

Also it could be the love of the spit that comes out in me....

He could have taken a K4 and be much cleaner without getting the spit STD. Levi gave me that little virus long ago with the spit 5..

I could go fly other planes.... but many seem so boring. I'll stick with my 38.

 :rofl :rofl :rofl

Spit are Lego planes compared to others, wings pop off like nothing. For example a few days ago me and redtop got into a 1v1 about 11-12K i was in a P51 he was in a spit8. Long story short he had the alt and the E but we got into a slow turn fight, mind you i was in a P51. After a few times i got shots off on his wing. By the third burst his wings went off. It dose not take much to kill a spit.

It's the pilot not the plane. Im not saying redtops bad, he's a hell of a stick. It's all throttle and stick control. Spits are easy to kill.  :rock

 :salute
Redtop was a hell of a fight, if you had it recorded by any chance send it to me please. VansCrew1@yahoo.com
