After bailing and parachuting successfully i decided to see if I got a bonus or a medal for walking back.  Half way and 20 minutes later one of the squad decided to come and pick me up in a C47.  The only trouble was that I couldn't get on the damn thing and I suppose the same may apply to ground vehicles.

Maybe it should have been possible if so how? If it isn't then how about a .load <name> command and a bonus for making it back home.  Add to the fun too!

I agree its a great idea and hopefully we see it added.

many times over the weekend ive been driving along in the M16 and seeing friendly chutes drop down several hundred yards away.....would be good to pick them up etc.

but would a score system need to be set up first and a medal system?  or would people do it for the fun of it.....i know i would

Rescues would be great for the long tour of duty historcial arenas.

I Thought the ".join [playerid]" meant you could be rescued (I have used it in the GMT TOD). Or are we talking about something else?

Neg Snafu, you have to exit to the tower first to be able to join.

I think that idea is a beaut!   I can see it now,  shot down pilots trying to evade the nme who are out to straffe you or run you down. Could they then capture you in their M16 or Panzers?

It would be cool if you could take over a base yourself, ie if you need another trooper to cap a base and its flattened, land your plane, hop out and invade the map room yourself   and they could give you a rifle to shoot other troopers.

Very Nice Idea indeed ! We do implement this in the GMT TOD (a Goon has to land next to you)...would be nice to have that in the MA as well !
