A.
Compare the Fw190A-8 and Bf109G-10, both use the same Revi 16 sight (FACT), and the distance of pilot to sight is approximately the same, but even if it weren't you can see that the scale is different (roughly 1/2).
This is when we adopt your - unique per SIGHT and cockpit approach - and this has then been rebuked.
B.
AH has custom gunsights, and we expect that a custom gunstight to has the same SCALE on each a/c, be that N1K2, P-51D or Bf 109 G-10 (within the limits of the sight).
What does that mean?
If an P-51 wingspan fills the entire sight at 100 yards (hypothetical numbers), it does so on each of the a/c, not ONLY on a P-51, but also at 100 yards for a G-10, not 50 yards
TARGET to SIGHT scale should be constant regardless of cockpit size, or is this concept to hard to grasp?
The purpose of a sight is to calculate distance to target and lead required, this can't be done efficiently if SCALE is as variable as in AH.
I think this is a real problem, maybe I'm a nitpicker?
