I'm pretty sure that you heard that the BAR was full, not the arena...  This is a CON after all.

disclaimer:  While I have never been to an AH2 CON, I have been to a number of CONS of my particular industry.  I'm fairly certain that they all eventually end up in the Hotel bars.   :lol

can't sleep, dangit........

anyhows.........the newly turned Seven yr old Ryan is going to get to see his 1st Air Show this weekend here in Jacksonville, this will prob be the one he can remember as his 1st....is the Blue Angels HomeComing Show of the season at NAS Jax......after that we are leaving to head to NC to Mom's to see my Oldest Niece's Husband off with a departing Party for him....he is heading off to Afhganistan for a 1 year duty tour......

truly wanted to go but his leaving out , I feel is much more important to be there and give him some encouraging words of wisdom regarding being over seas on duty.......

I am wishfully hoping NB/Coach/SB/LW and others go ahead and get things rolling in advance for NEXT YEARS CON........

I do have the ability to have custom shirts/caps/hoodies/etc......made up for individuals to commemorate the Con this year, all though It will get to people late who want anything....... can have ya squad patch and callsign on the front left chest and an ACES HIGH CON Oct24th thru Oct 26th, 2008  Logo on the back......PM me if you interested anyone.......mugs, stiens, all types of shirts, shorts, caps, etc available.......

ok already NB / Coach SAY YAY for next year  :aok

I have this IMAGE I keep of each of you in my head, this visual that connects the attitudes, friendships, tensions and competativeness we all attach to each member we come across, Now to go to the con and have it proven to me just how absurd, geeky, lame and pathetic we all actually are , would just ruin the game in total for me I think.  :aok I think the little teentards would seriously dampen my spirit also :D  :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Better things to do with my time and money then hang out with a bunch of wannabe fly boy geeks half way across the globe wearing Aces High T-Shirts,drinking bud and making arses of themselves in a cheap hotel.

Having said that, I'll make it over one year as I hate to miss a party.   :aok

It's not very often ..

..but ..

..now and then, a Con comes along that sets the bar in soo many ways..

..to not be there is to miss something truly worth being there for.
