I have posted my comment here, but it is in response to a continuing thread under the topic of

Maybe what is actually needed is one more arena. In parallel to the Training Arena, but more like an "Instant Action Arena" (IAA).
All that is needed in the IAA would be 3 bases on mountain tops that are at close range to each other. This arena would be simply a "Free for ALL". You fly you die, friend or foe down you go.
What I find is that alot of people go to the TA to do this anyway, especially players new to the game.
I have participated in several Free for All's in the TA. They are very fun and a nice change of pace, because the action is non-stop.
The addtition of an IAA might be the easiest solution.
