Ola all .

Just got a new computer. ( yeah yeah took me long enough )   I got tired of putting a bunch of junk together and trying to fly so, I went MIA for a bit. Durring extened MIA status I totally missed flying and just hanging around  being the pest that I have always been <g> <------- the old skool grin !

I should be back up in the virtual skies shortly..... um if I can figger out where the heck my flight stuff is hiding last time I saw it was back in 06. I think I might know where it is. now if it still works will be the next question.  Any of the old timers still around? I am looking forward to seeing the old timers and meeting the new guys.

I am sure that Ill be the guy sitting on runway going "ugh.... how do I start the engine ?" and of course one of you guys will give me the command to bail out !  just to save me from crashing on take off. Muhahahahhaah !

Uhm....

 The engine starts automatically when yah up on the runway, theres one less thing yah have to worry about

Well....

 If yah just jam the throttles full throttle when yah up, you will be in auto take off mode, and the landing gear will auto up as well. And another thing less to worry about!!

Hey Rabbit, good to cya back.

Agree with ya on the X52 gear...it's kinda like a wife: looks pretty and works well at first but sooner or later it wears out and becomes useless

I found that x36 stick that you sent me a long time ago in a closet... it works better thant the x 52

Thing still works.  will get a new CH rig soon. but, once again the good ole x 35 will  get me back in the air.

I have a set of TM rudders someplace too. but I think that they are finally dead. I also I have all of my old mac CH stuff ... Uhhhg !

If you need to replace rudders, you may want to check out the Saitek peds. While I'm not a huge fan of Saitek gear, their peds (I've been using them for 1.5 years now) are a slight cut ahead of the CH peds, IMHO. Reason I say that is:
1. Tension adjustment
2. Adjustable foot rests - adoptable to shoe size
3. Larger overall base vs CH peds so they don't tend to slide around as much.
4. Saitek peds came with Velcro strips to keep them in place.
