The Sun and the all inspiring tags!

If this has been covered long before, sry for the punt..but...

Most of the planes in AH were successful because of their ability to quickly strike their opponent which you cannot do in AH.  You can't dive on someone w/o them knowing your there unless he's already buried his head into an opponent or he's new.

I miss the "bounce" of an enemy cause I play for immersion not because I want to play a game.  I would love it if Somehow (don't know how hard it would be) the tags would disappear if the bandit in "sun up" position from you.   It could work in a similar way that tags are suppose to disappear when they pass thru your framework.

Btw...how has the sun been redone?  Cause when I first started playing it was nice...bright on your cockpit controls and the plane WAS pretty much hidden..but now it's just ......there.

Yup, that's one of the most important aspect AH is still missing.

Warbirds way with disappearing icons is ok if anything better can't be found.

I'd rather see more real like effect with very bright screen and a possibility to move the view to get canopy frame to shade your eyes.

remove enemy icons and add sun glare. AH will be a sim then, not a game.

Great news HT  As a quick aside, I recall that in version 0.35 beta you introduced what might be termed 'halo effect':  you'd be sitting in your cockpit and look at the ground directly downsun and see a rather bright circle on the ground.

In recent releases it 'seems' to have become less distinct.  Any plans on re-introducing this halo effect?  It sure would make the surprise bounce out of the sun easier to construct!
