This morning after the reset, the knights launched a very nice large bomber raid of around 7 B-17's.
A couple of watchful Rooks, noticed the large sector counter block launch from 9, and then head towards Rookland.
Immediately rooks started to launch interceptors, and grabbin alt to meet the assault.
Now, I can't begrudge the knights using the higher alt abilities that the current bugs in the bomber FM give them, but I think everyone who plays gets frustrated when trying to intercept fully loaded B-17's at 35k alt. (Not only is it not fun, its imbalancing, the FM bugs)
I didn't participate, but listened to the fight over the radio. Sounded like alot of fun, with great skill shown on all sides.
It took about 20 rooks, launching and dying, to stem the tide, and we breathed a sigh of relief, saving our HQ. Great Fight

Right up until that last Knight bomber flew in out of the netherworld from off the edge of map, and finished off the HQ with his bombload. We had one pilot in position trying to intercept at 35k. He reported the bomber as above him, at an estimated 38k.
A Total Dweeb move. I hope you feel proud whoever you were, you turned what was a very nicely organized raid, that was a great fight and fun on both sides, into a dweeb fest that left a bad taste in every rooks mouth.
The problem is that this has become a common tactic. Not only do we have to try and intercept in fighters that can't even get that high.
But people routinely fly "off the map" and then "pop into existence" right over the heartland, at an altitude that makes them untouchable.
I <SALUTE> the bomber pilots that fly it straight. And I look forward to many fun and skillful encounters.

For those that abuse the map bug, well your scum, plain and simple.

I really hope that HTC will address these two types of bugs immediately, since they have a major imbalancing effect to the game.
