sending films to HTC
« on: February 21, 2001, 06:13:00 PM »
Hello HTC staff:

I am posting this do to the fact the sending e-mails is nothing but a waste of time it seems. I have sent three or four e-mails with a film in the past six or so months. and with each one, I have asked that I be contacted via e-mail with what ever you found. But as it stands, I have not heard back from HTC staff regarding any of the films I have sent.

So now I would like to know if the staff at HTC would rather not receive e-mails with films. As if the staff at HTC would like us to just pay our money and keep our months shut. Now I have never played war birds, but from what I have read in the MA on the text buffer and read in the BB's, it seems that is how the treated there cilents.

Now let there be no mistake here, Yes I am just a little ticked off with the respounce I have received from HTC in regards to the e-mails I have sent to them. And yes I know that my $30 a month would not be a big loss to HTC should I decide to leave Aces High. But remember, the $30 a month that I pay, is something to me and my small bank account. And I see no reason as to why when I send an e-mail with a film asking a queston and for a respounce from HTC, why I dont get a respounce.

Yes, I know that the staff at HTC is always very busy with new updates and are always trying to get them out as soon as possable.
But I do not beleive that is a good excuse to ignore your clients and any questons they might have.

So as I stated, would the staff at HTC just like me to pay my money and keep my mouth shut. by all means, please let me know if this is what you want from your war birds, I mean, Aces High clients.

The only people that need reply to this post is any staff of HTC.

Wolf, you are, of course, assuming they are receiving said emails. As Yukon Cornnelius once said, "bumbles bounce"!

OK lets just say hypothetically that you are reporting someone that you believe is cheating.  What GUARANTEE does HTC have that you won't hit every BB and NG on the net saying something to the effect of "Hacking a problem in <blank> flight sim."  ?
If they reply that the person you filmed had found a cheat?
Think for a minute wolf..
The person, if they are cheating will quietly dissappear, and the end result will still be the same.  If there is/was a cheat, it will be prevented and the guilty parties removed from the equation.  If you are emailing films to HTC for any other reason than cheating please ignore +)

Seriously Wolf, the developer CANNOT mail you a reply, not with this community

Wolf, there is a very good possibility that we haven't received any of your emails.  Our email system has spamming deterrents, and sometimes we don't receive the real ones.  Sorry!  Have the emails ever bounced back to you?

SUPERFLY:

No, none of the e-mails have bounced back to me. So I just assume you have received them.
I have been sending them to Pyro's e-mail address, and have been getting that e-mail address from the BB's. If there is a better address to send e-mails to, please let me know. I only have one of the films I have ever sent, as I do not keep them for very long. see no reason to keep them after a certain length of time.

Wobble:
enough said.

Dingy:
I assume only you find your tread to be funny.

Apache:
yes I am assuming they are receiving the e-mails, why else would I be wanting to know why no respounce.

Skurj:
You are right, I may not be reporting somebody for supected cheating, so a respounce is not asking to much.

CavemanJ:
So how do you know that you have to send the e-mail two or three times if it is not bouncing back. As I am not on line much when anybody from HTC is flying or I dont think to ask if they received my e-mail. How would I know to send another one to them.
