I experimented with this "just to see" what would happen :

Panzer vs. the troop tent...the troop tent won.  I imagine that a multi-ton, armoured, tracked vehicle should be able to run over a tent without much difficulty.  I'm sure this is a collision model type thing, and fixing it would require dividing ground objects into things than can, and things that can't, be smooshed by a tank.  Just an observation .

Yes I've run into the blasted things more times than I care to remember. Especially if there's a lot of smoke in the area.

Hey Guys...
Remember that cars were really built of steel back then.

Maybe these are the famed "ACME TON-O-TENT"
Maybe they can be used as bunkers too !  

I seem to remember having a surplus one of these in 1980. Slept 8 people and weighed a ton when wet.
